Each Lazenby polished concrete floor is meticulously hand-crafted to meet the unique requirements of your space. With a nominal thickness of 100mm (minimum 75mm), it can be installed directly over underfloor heating pipes, eliminating the need for a traditional screed. Thanks to concrete’s natural thermal mass properties, our floors work seamlessly with underfloor heating, creating an energy-efficient and comfortable living environment.

Site Survey
Following the consultation, we will conduct an on-site survey. This involves assessing the site, discussing specific requirements with the construction team, and reviewing the project programme to ensure everything is in place for a seamless installation process.Want to know more?

Preparation
Before installation begins, the site is meticulously prepared to ensure optimal conditions for laying the concrete. This includes protecting all existing surfaces, installing the reinforcement mesh and isolation joints, and setting up task lighting to ensure precision.Want to know more?

Step 4:
Concrete Pour
Our skilled professionals pour and level the concrete to a precise thickness. The colour is then applied to the surface and gradually worked into the concrete using specialised machinery and the expertise of our master craftsmen. This step can take anywhere from 8-20 hours, depending on site conditions.Want to know more?

Cut & Cover
The following day, we return to carefully cut the planned crack control joints into the floor. The area is then cleared and tidied before we apply our 3-layer protective covering.
